WATCH: A clip of James Murphy acting in The Comedy has surfaced!

This year’s Sundance Film Festival found LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy in not one, but two separate films, one of which is the previously reported on Shut Up, and Play the Hits, a documentary on the titular group’s final show.
The second is Rick Alverson’s new film The Comedy, which features Murphy in a supporting role, alongside Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim (of Tim and Eric Awesome Show! fame). The Comedy details the life of an aging New York hipster (Heidecker), who is emotionally disconnected from everyone around him and is an asshole to pretty much everyone.
You can now watch a short clip of the film, in which Heidecker, Wareheim and Murphy make a cab driver’s life a living hell. It's equal parts funny and excruciating. Watch the clip below, but prepare to be uncomfortable:
