Beastie Boys sue Monster Energy Drink for Copyright Infringement

In what is perhaps one of the most satisfying lawsuits of this or any year, the Beastie Boys have sued Monster Energy bka The Purveyors of Club District Puke-Fuel for copyright infringement. The complaint alleges that the company illegally used the band’s likenesses and music in a series of promotional campaigns for their “Ruckus in the Rockies” events, which I haven’t heard of and refuse to google. The Beasties are asking for $150,000 in damages for each infringement, which if they win, will probably end up donated to the Red Bull Music Academy because these guys are still shitkickers.
