WATCH: Shlohmo – “wen uuu” official music video

Ambient hip-hop producer Shlohmo lends the chopped vocal samples and reverb-heavy 808 chimes of his track “wen uuu” to an unofficial video, a bleak and slummy tribute to urban life, and a reminder of how awesome trees and sunlight are.

Directed, shot and edited by Florian Döring, the video’s blurry perspective staggers and floats like it’s black-out drunk and hopelessly lost in a foreign city while searching desperately for some kind of landmark. It may be shot in Döring’s hometown of Berlin, but it just goes to show that there’s nothing like a good old-fashioned bender to give you a new perspective on your city.
