In the video for Danny Brown’s “Radio Song,” the track’s Civil War marching rhythms and Gregorian chants get an appropriately battle-invoking treatment, with an army of Dannys intent on crushing whack rappers as well as showcasing all of their dope vests.
Apparently still being controlled by the alien parasite attached to his brain that’s masquerading as a haircut, Brown calls out every rapper who puts hits ahead of artistry, and judging by his fierceness of his flow, there’s quite a few of them. If I were Wiz Khalifa, I’d feel ashamed of myself after watching this. Then I’d probably buy a dying eastern European town, name it “Swagville,” and change the town slogan to an air horn siren, which would help.
