Nothing gets you through the throes of winter like festival line-up announcements, and the itinerary for this year’s Governors Ball should keep you warm at least until you decide to go outside again.
On June 23-24 Randall’s Island, New York will be the performing grounds for the likes of Beck, Modest Mouse, Built to Spill, Cults, Special Disco Version (James Murphy and Pat Mahoney), Santigold, Passion Pit, Chromeo, Major Lazer, Explosions in the Sky, Devendra Banhart, Duck Sauce and more including a MYSTERY GUEST, who judging from the line-up’s chronology, is better than Devandra Banhart but worse than Explosions in the Sky.
