WATCH: Lana Del Rey gets profiled by Myspace

- Jan 31, 2012

Lana Del Rey. You either love her or you hate her. As we all know, a lot of people hate her, especially after she flubbed her performance on SNL. But Myspace is not one of those haters. In fact, Myspace seems to LOVE Lana Del Rey.

Below, you can watch the short video interview with the controversial singer that takes a refreshing and positive look at Del Rey's life. It all went down at the Chateau Marmont, a place that just oozes "Old Hollywood," which could not be more fitting for Del Rey, as she dubs herself the "gangster Nancy Sinatra" and "Lolita lost in the hood." The clip attempts to capture the more earnest side of Del Rey as she tells stories of her family and her love for music and film. She's also filmed singing acapella and proves that she does, in fact, have a good voice. So, perhaps it was the nerves that affected her voice on SNL and in a comfortable setting, like this one, the girl can really give'r.

Lana Del Rey's debut album, Born To Die, is out today. Yesterday she tweeted that it's already gone number one in 11 countries and today it went to number one on iTunes. So, I guess Myspace isn't the only one who loves her.
