If you checked out CHARTattack’s featured interview with Toro
Y Moi, you would know that the South Carolina native’s music has evolved from
ambient lo-fi chillwave to funky and groovy synthpop in a short two-and-a-half years’
time.
Do you find Chaz Bundick’s earlier work more sonically
appealing? Well, you’re in luck. On April 24 Carpark will release June 2009; a collection of Toro Y Moi’s
earlier work which had only been available on tour as a CD-R. The retrospective
is set to be released by way of a 7’’ vinyl box set as well as on CD and
digitally.
