Amos the Transparent, quite possibly the sweetest thing to come out of Ottawa since the beaver tail pastry, take us back to grade school with this whomesome and crafty video for “Sure as the Weather”. The seven-piece ensemble recreate the four seasons using hand-made props, singing their optomistic ditty infront of a colourful, scrolling background.
The Gavin Michael Booth video was filmed all in one take at the Lakeshore Academy of Fine Arts. In the behind-the-scenes video, lead singer Jonathan Chandler says the band has to reherse the sequence seventeen times. You also get to see all the students from LAFA that got to participate.
As Jonathan Chandler and Kate Sargent softly sing “it’s going to be okay” as they hold up a handpainted rainbow, they solidify themselves as the ultimate pick-me-uppers. Having a bad day at work? Watch this music video, listen to their Goodnight, My Dear EP and wait as a smile slowly creeps on your face.
