The singer will be be releasing the follow-up to 2006′s The Greatest, but she’s keeping mum on any additional information. The last time she spoke to Rolling Stone, she revealed she’ll playing all the intstruments herself. “I think I was inspired by being disappointed in myself that I’d just been holding the microphone and I was disappointed in myself that I hadn’t been playing an instrument. And I think I wanted to prove to myself that I could try to create a relationship with it again,” she said.
Judging solely on how gorgeous of an album The Greatest is, the newest musical endeavour from Cat Power is bound to be — for lack of a better word — pretty great.
