Springsteen said we’re born to run, but on Sleigh Bells’ new riff-rock-assault, Krauss is a little less hopeful. “Born to Lose” is the first taste of the highly anticipated 2012 album Reign of Terror and it doesn’t disappoint – Derek Miller’s heavy distortion riffs, crushing drums and Krauss’ soft vocals somehow cutting through it all. The song ends with an ethereal coda that marks new territory for Sleigh Bells, which is great and all, but now we just want more.
