Experimental electronic artist Egyptrixx recently teamed up with sisters Jenny and Casey Mecija of Toronto’s darling orchestral-pop outfit Ohbijou to record a a dense and dirty cover of Earth’s “Old Black.” The resulting four-minute track is available on a 10″ here.
“Old Black” just got a warping, abstract visual treatment, not unlike the music video for Egyptrixx’s “Start From the Beginning”. Makes sense, since both clips were directed by A.N. Fischer of datdatdat. Check it out below:
