Arcade Fire fans who can’t make it to Moncton, N.B. to see the band open for U2 on July 30 — or who don’t want to pay $60 for tickets… or who don’t like U2 — can catch the Montreal collective when they play Dartmouth, N.S.’ Alderney Landing two days before.
Inaugural Polaris Music Prize winner and Arcade Fire collaborator Owen Pallett will join Arcade Fire at the gig.
Tickets go on sale Friday through Ticketpro, and will run you $39.50. Every ticket bought includes a one dollar donation to KANPE, a non-governmental organization working to help rebuild Haiti after the 2010 earthquake that devastated the Caribbean country.
