It's not every day you pick up Bono hitchhiking, like Edmonton Oiler right winger Gilbert Brule did the other day.

Kittie are touring the U.S. this summer. Appropriately, their website still looks like it's from 2001.

Edmonton singer/songwriter Eamon McGrath is taking his tunes on the road this summer.

If the upcoming Holy Ship! cruise isn't your thing, maybe you'll appreciate the Monsters Of Rock cruise instead. It's got Cinderella, Tesla, Styper, Faster Pussycat and more for those of you who look like you probably appeared in Heavy Metal Parking Lot.

The Smashing Pumpkins feel the need to release another album, so they're letting you in on the track listing.

Organizers for this year's Bumbershoot festival have announced that Broken Social Scene, Minus The Bear and Toro Y Moi will play. As will Hall & Oates, The Presidents Of The United States Of America and Butthole Surfers. Wait, whaaaa?!

Handsome Furs played live in Montreal's Apple store. Of course, the results are now up on iTunes.

Tom Hanks' son is making a documentary about Tower Records. For some reason.

Your next major internet annoyance: Parental Advisory warnings on Spotify and YouTube content. Seriously, I can't even say this enough: Eff you, Tipper Gore.

Shad's been added to the lineup for this year's Capitol Hill Block Party in Seattle. Fucked Up and Handsome Furs are also performing.

Bjork's next album is going to include 10 different iPad applications. Oooooooh, aren't we fancy?!

The next Planet Smashers album is called Descent Into The Valley Of The Planet Smashers. It's out July 12. Check out the ridiculous trailer below:

Art Brut will release a 28-page comic book to go with their Brilliant! Tragic! album. It'll feature illustrations to accompany each of the LP's songs.

Progress is apparently moving along "faster than... expected" on the new Pearl Jam album. The band have been working on it in Los Angeles. Gee, wouldn't it be totally coincidental if it came out in September, along with every other upcoming Pearl Jam release on the face of the planet?

Gaslight Anthem Brian Fallon's Horrible Crowes side project will release their Elise debut album on Sept. 6.

Americans: the Barenaked Ladies are coming your way this summer. Tell your mom.

The soundtrack to Transformers: Dark Of The Moon comes out June 14 and will feature Linkin Park, My Chemical Romance, Taking Back Sunday, Theory Of A Deadman and Mastodon. Since when did nu metal and emo merge?

Deadmau5 has posted pics of some of the Mau5heads fans have made, which he's considering wearing on stage. And they're pretty fuckin' awesome. We say go with the Spider-Man basketball one.

It's always sad when an overzealous Hootie & The Blowfish fan rushes the stage to try and get closer to Darius Rucker and gets his ass beat down by security.

Amy Winehouse has finished her week of rehab, which will obviously be completely effective and clearly has solved every single problem she ever had in her entire life.
