Imagine if The Beach Boys developed some kind of bizarre, creepy fetish for the grotesque and macabre and you’ve pretty much got yourself Timber Timbre‘s new single.
The Montreal trio dropped “Black Water,” the first single from the upcoming new Creep On Creepin’ On album today. Singer Taylor Kirk definitely sounds like what would happen if Brian Wilson holed himself up inside some kind of dark cave or dungeon while playing with a cauldron full of toads, got like 16 gross warts on his face and fantasized about being happy again.

“Black Water” will be available through Arts & Crafts’ website and iTunes beginning tomorrow. You can also get it by pre-ordering Creep On Creepin’ On. The album pre-order also includes a T-shirt, lithograph and a seven-inch single, along with an MP3 of “Black Water.”
