The fine folks over at CBC Radio 3 have had the generousity to put our humble little website on their long list for the Searchlight Best Canadian Website award.
The nominations were announced today on Grant Lawrence’s show. We’re up against tons of folks, including some well-known artists. We’re obviously stoked about this, and we really, really want to win.
There are a number of reasons you should vote for us, but we like being modest and we’re sure you can figure those out on your own.
But if we win, here are two things editors Aaron Brophy and Kate Harper would respectively be willing to let Lawrence do:
- Aaron will give Grant permission to apply makeup to his face, take pictures and use those pictures for whatever purpose Grant chooses.
- Kate will personally let Grant cut her hair (which she’s had quite long since ninth grade) into whatever hairstyle he chooses.
So keep those things in mind when you go to vote… and please do vote for us. You can do so here, and you can vote once every 24 hours.
The short list of 50 websites will be announced next week, and the ultimate winner will be revealed on March 10.
