Death From Above 1979 have returned!
Thye juvenile thrash rock duo of Jesse F. Keeler and Sebastien Grainger were a surprise inclusion in the 2011 Coachella Festival lineup announcement last night. The band will have marquee billing and perform on the same day as Kanye West, The Strokes and Duran Duran, amongst others.
This is wonderful news, knowing that Chart Magazine’s 2005 artist of the year has returned. Not only do we get DFA1979 back, but it also means there’s less time for MSTRKRFT, Bad Tits, and Sebastien’s solo projects.
