Alexisonfire Announce Canadian Winter Tour

Canadian winters pretty much suck in that they're extremely cold and usually long. That means waiting outside for your local venue to open so you can see your favourite band might be frustratingly chilly experiences.

But Alexisonfire fans are pretty dedicated, and they'll probably line up hours and hours before (in the cold) to see the band when they tour across Canada this winter.

The jaunt kicks off Nov. 26 and runs through Dec. 16 (not technically "winter," which starts Dec. 21, but anyway...). The band will have Norma Jean, La Dispute, Four Year Strong and 3 Inches Of Blood with them at select dates.

Tickets go on sale on Saturday at 10 a.m. local time, except for Calgary. They go on sale there next week. A presale for all dates except Calgary will take place from tomorrow until Friday here.

Two tour packages are available. You can just buy a regular ticket, or you can purchase a VIP package, which also gets you a meet-and-greet with the band, a tour poster, a laminate, a seven-inch of demos from last year's Old Crows/Young Cardinals and early entry into the venue.
