Halifax Pop Explosion Lineup Announced

Sloan, GWAR, The New Pornographers, The Hold Steady and Tokyo Police Club are among the acts that will play this year's Halifax Pop Explosion.

The festival takes place Oct. 19 to 23, and features more than 135 acts performing at over 18 venues throughout the city. Basia Bulat, C'Mon, The Casualties, The Golden Dogs, Great Lake Swimmers, Handsome Furs, The Pack A.D., My Brightest Diamond, Young Rival and The Superfantastics will also play.

Festival wristbands are on sale now for $50. Priority passes and VIP passes are also available for $100 and $250, respectively.
