We asked a pile of our favourite musicians about their top albums of 2010. Here’s what D-Sisive/Derek From Northcliffe said:
1) Yeasayer — Odd Blood
When I first heard “O.N.E.” I felt like I was 9 years old again, watching the opening credits to some ’80s movie. A bird’s eye view montage of beaches and skyscrapers. Venice Beach. New York City. Weekend At Bernie’s. The Secret Of My Success. It makes me happy. Something music rarely makes me feel. Hooray for Yeasayer!
2) K-Dot & 9th Uno — Drugstore Cowboys
3) Arcade Fire — The Suburbs
4) Pigeon Hole — Age Like Astronauts
5) The National — High Violet
