1. Beach House — Teen Dream
This is the record I put on when I’m drawing a bath. A sexy bath.
2. LCD Soundsystem — This Is Happening
The first song, “Dance Yrself Clean,” tears me a new one. It’s so patient, when the beat finally kicks in I have a million simultaneous orgasms.
3. Zeus — Say Us
My favourite Canadian record of the year. They may wear their influences on their sleeves, but nevertheless me likey them sleeves.
4. Spoon — Transference
“Who Makes Your Money” on repeat. Loves it.
5. The Black Keys — Brothers
This is the record I put on when I’m getting out of the bath.
