If you’re hungry for new Hollerado material, rest assured that it’s coming your way very soon — and it’ll have an added kick.
The Montreal/Manotick, Ont. rockers plan to release a 10-inch vinyl record and it will come with the band’s very own hot sauce, drummer Jake Boyd says.
“We kind of tried and tested [it] and got our friend who works in hospitality to make this awesome hot sauce that’s going to come with every copy of the vinyl,” he told CHARTattack by phone this afternoon.
That’s only appropriate, since the band’s MySpace page features the logo for Tapatio hot sauce in the “sounds like” section.
The 10-inch will feature seven new songs, and Boyd says he and the rest of the band — singer/guitarist Menno Versteeg, bassist Dean Baxter and guitarist Nixon Boyd — are also going to start working on a new full-length album sometime within the next few months. The disc obviously doesn’t have a release date yet, but will probably come out next year.
