Lady Gaga destroyed all the competition at last night's MTV Video Music Awards, winning eight moon trophies — seven of which were for this year's "Bad Romance" clip.
"Bad Romance" took the video of the year award, along with prizes for best female video, dance video, choreography, pop video, editing and direction. The video for Gaga's tune with Beyonce, "Telephone," picked up the best collaboration award.
Gaga's outfit also drew a lot of attention, since she showed up in a dress made of… raw meat. Mmm, maggots.
Eminem was the only other multiple winner, but his award tally was way, way behind Gaga's, since he only garnered two trophies. Both were for his "Not Afraid" video, which took the best male video and best hip-hop video honours.
Other winners included 30 Seconds To Mars, The Black Keys, Muse, Florence And The Machine and Justin Bieber.
There was no repeat of last year's Kanye West/Taylor Swift fiasco, though West was booed when he debuted a new track to close the event. Swift and West reportedly "made up" before the show, though it was reported last week that Swift would not accept a tune West had written her as an apology.
