First, La Roux simply la-la-left Lilith Fair. But now they've cancelled their entire North American tour.
Singer Elly Jackson has been "struggling with bronchitis" for the last couple of months, according to a statement from the band, and has also recently come down with a throat infection. Her doctor has told her she needs to take three weeks off to rest, meaning the band can't perform the North American dates as scheduled.
The band say they plan to reschedule as many of the cancelled shows for November as they can, so fans should hold on to their tickets for now.
Here are La Roux's cancelled dates:
July 27 Washington, DC @ 9:30
July 28 Baltimore, MD @ Rams Head Live!
July 29 Philadelphia, PA @ Trocadero Theatre
July 31 Atlanta, GA @ Variety
