Who better to feature in an issue that could only have been brought about
through a pact with the devil than the Anti-Christ Superstar himself,
Marilyn Manson. CHART sent senior writer Liisa Ladouceur to the deepest
pits of Los Angeles to talk with the ubiquitous Mr. Manson about the
pitfalls of fame, the new album Mechanical Animals, and of course, sex,
drugs and the apocalypse. "I've maybe found the reasons not to want to
fulfill the tragic thing I set in motion," says Manson "The personal
apocalypse. That's where the sadness on the record comes from: The idea
that I may be too late."
In a startlingly frank tête-a-tête with Sarah G, Bif Naked indulges in some
girl talk, riffing on topics ranging from body waxing to sports bras and
silicone implants. "Girls need to know that tomato-shaped boobs are where
it's at." says Bif "A lot of guys don't know what real boobs look like
because they have been looking at nudie magazines their whole life."
