Alicia Keys appeared on Tuesday's (Dec. 15) episode of The Colbert Report.
In an interview, Stephen Colbert told her his only qualm with "Empire State Of Mind," Keys' hit with Jay-Z that's about New York City, was that it didn't have "enough about the suburbs in it."
To fix this problem, Colbert helped Keys perform the song and made sure to inject verses about 60-inch plasma TVs, private school education, gated communities and suburban air being better for asthma.
(That's hilarious to those of us whose asthma acts up when we're in the suburbs. Damn you, pollen.)
