"What the hell?" is what you'll probably ask after watching the video for Tegan And Sara's "Hell," the first single from Sainthood, which is out Tuesday (Oct. 27).
It's got black-and-white jail uniform type shirts, greaser hair, weird tug of war matches through a wall, a weird-assed flowery hoodie that looks like it's eating Tegan's head and other strangeness. Further, why is Sara lip synching a song written by Tegan?
Are they trapped in their own personal hells in their heads?
I've watched this three times and I still don't get it, but maybe you will.
