In the Christopher Mills-directed (Motion City Soundtrack, Senses Fail) video for Shad's "Compromise," Shad and his "manager" take a ride in an old-skool car and then go up a glass elevator (Roald Dahl reference?) before they head up an escalator to a room where Shad checks out slides of a moose and Canadian landscape. People think the music business is exciting, but they forget that artists often have to sit through boring approval meetings before their work comes to life.
