The Beatles: Rock Band Trailer

Here's the trailer for the upcoming The Beatles: Rock Band game, which will be in stores on Sept. 9 (that's 9/9/09, and hopefully you get that reference if you're a Beatles fan).

Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr unveiled the game yesterday (Monday) at a conference in advance of the Electronic Entertainment Expo, which opens today.

The Beatles: Rock Band will be available on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii. You'll be able to play as John Lennon, McCartney, George Harrison or Starr in the game and play along to 45 tracks from The Beatles' catalogue that have been remastered. You'll also be able to download the entire Abbey Road album when the game launches.

The game spans Beatles history, from their early days at Liverpool, England's Cavern Club to their final psychedelic period, and scenes will change as you move through each period in Beatles history. (The Magical Mystery Tour period actually features the Fab Four in rabbit suits!)
