It took Winnipeg's Inward Eye years to record and release their debut self-titled EP, which was released on Jan. 27. But the wait was worth it, as the EP's leadoff track, "Shame," proves. The tension-filled track is as much influenced by The Who as it is modern indie rock, and it's a welcome respite from some of the tired, recycled alternative rock that currently sits atop the charts.
