"Lille" can be found on Irish singer/songwriter Lisa Hannigan's Sea Sew debut album. The disc was shortlisted for this year's Choice Music Prize, which recognizes the year's best Irish album. It was released last year in Hannigan's home country, but was released in North America on Tuesday. The "sew" in the album title is no mere accident, since its cover and liner notes are photos of embroidery that Hannigan did all by hand.
"Lille," with its quiet, gentle folk, recalls other singer/songwriters like Feist, while Hannigan's voice is somewhat akin to Bjork.
