There's nothing quite as cool as finding a new band you really like that hasn't existed for years. For their 100th release as a label, Sacred Bones are unleashing a secret cache of coolness, in the form of a lost album from NY post-punk act The Hunt. The band split in 2009 after two years of touring and recording, and The Hunt Begins would have been their first full-length release. The title might be heaps more ironic, but the sound is full-tilt catharsis, sung with the intensity of the town-crier on the way to the gallows. Pick it up November 12th via Sacred Bones.
