There's just some music you shouldn't be able to play in the car. Stuff that's on the verge of crushing the silence it was meant to conceal, but instead turns your dad's Volvo into a careening hell-chariot. After “Drone,” and now with “Screams,” Heaven's Gate show no sign of relenting; though Jess Paps' mystic clarion calls are buried alive in tons of vengeful guitars, they still fight powerfully for the song's brief duration. Her words still sound like some dreadful phrases found in some dusty tome, and their utterance is now giving rise to some terrible storm.
