Boysnoize Records have hit 100 releases, and electro giants The Chemical Brothers and Justice are each celebrating the centinnial with a Boys Noize remix. Justice’s version of “Ich R U” is a toweringly funky cut of robot rock, each section interlocking like the parts of an alien energy cell and full of the same unpretentious power. The contrast between this and “XTC” is stark; the latter’s attempt at crafting an unrelenting electro-autobahn is apparent, and the final result is a little wearying because of it.
