A new one from Syron! Remember her? She dropped a video last year then kinda dipped. But she’s back with “Here,” and the time off’s done her good. Her new track hits Beyonce/Sean Paul levels of pop propulsion, a trance-garage track that’s grabbed a star and running rampant. I might be wrong, but I don’t think Syron has any intention of staying underground: When she lets her voice linger with “Here for life…” you feel that doesn’t have her sights set on Charli XCX, but Rihanna.
