February 26th sees the release of Atoms For Peace‘s Amok LP, and the latest single “Judge Jury and Executioner” suggests that this thing is going to be more In Rainbows than whatever the hell the other Flea-involving supergroup Rocket Juice and the Moon was supposed to be. Probably because Thom Yorke layers on the bleakness on thick and in such inspired ways, you’d think there’s a fleet of phantoms in your headphones trying to warn you about something. Were you expecting Flea jokes? I don’t have any. Whatever he’s doing here rules. Amok is out February 26th via XL Recordings.
