Turn back now if you’re expecting a Puddle of Mudd cover. “She Hates Me” is 100% Big Boi, though it sounds like it was originally written for Kid Cudi, who provides a hook and some “ooh WHOA whoas.” Any hope for sincerity is drained by Big Boi’s ironic flow that lands with a thud across the beat’s expansive haze. It’s not exactly “Ms. Jackson.” Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors is out December 11th via Def Jam.
