Today in L.A. Reid pants-shitting news: Death Grips have released their second LP, NO LOVE DEEP WEB, for free. Preceding the release, the band’s Twitter and Facebook were littered with typically crazy messages, followed by this more lucid one: ”The label wouldn’t confirm a release date for NO LOVE DEEP WEB ’till next year sometime…The label will be hearing the album for the first time with you.” In other words, Epic/Columbia are getting pretty much exactly what they should have expected after signing this band. I can’t imagine how Death Grips will top it, and I’m not sure I’d want to even if I could.
