Mac DeMarco – “My Kind of Woman”

Goofmaster General Mac DeMarco is returning after releasing the long-EP Rock And Roll Nightclub earlier this year with a full-length titled 2. The first single “My Kind of Woman” has just dropped, and it seems as though he’s ditched the lo-fi warble and deep-voiced Lothario of Rock And Roll for something cleaner and perhaps a little less overtly silly. Still keeping with his lackadaisical spirit, it drifts slowly like a long drag on a cigarette while talking to your unhinged lover. It is the perfect soundtrack to your sweet slow dance with your significant other in your one bedroom basement apartment.
