Not sure how or why... but my ignorance to newer bands and probably ones south of the border allowed me to sleep thru years of MMJ. I only first heard them off a youtube video when they were on Conan with the Boston Pops.... jaw drop and a goosebumper 1st listen as Jim James Delivered GIDEON. I watched another and another. Missed the Berkley Church visit... but caught them up close when they were here this summer at Kool Haus... I was blown away. I took tons of video and photos... and then just last month I was able to catch them while in Hollywood, California at The Greek Theatre. 2:45min... well I was ready for round 2... but my wife wasn't... she loves concerts and music in general... and it took her awhile to come around asking me why I liked them. Ya its a long rock show if you don't know their tunes and lack the true live music addiction I have. I answered her with... "look at them... I like them because every guy up there is playing like this is the encore to end all encores... it's as if they are evacuating the Country tomorrow"
