Pumping: Ohbijou — Beacons

Shows in the basement of the Ohbijou house on Bellwoods Ave. (although things can get really, really hot down there in the summer) have provided some of my favourite Toronto memories and this disc has some beautiful, understated melodies that kind of swell out and smack you in the face when you least expect it. Great stuff.
