So why exactly does Lou Reed get to call himself the "NYC Man." There are lots of people that rank above him as being more definingly "New York," like Reggie Jackson, or Woody Allen, or The Naked Cowboy.

Reed should just step off a bit and stick to what he does best — be miserable and write songs about drugs.
