We're onside for big chunks of this. Like the smash-up of that O.C. theme song, the Emily Haines and Murray Lightburn cameos and the strange reverse Feist of "4,3,2,1."

Here's the deal, though: you can't litter your record with Feist, Dears, Metric and Phantom Planet touchstones and then write songs complaining about people pigeonholing you as indie rock.

Heck, Brendan Canning's probably sitting on K-OS's couch playing video games right now.

 I think k os is brilliant. "I Wish I Knew Natalie Portman" is my favorite.
