Pumping: Silverstein — A Shipwreck In The Sand

Well, it's good to see Silverstein are still angry. The leadoff track on this one is heavier than anything they've ever done, and this record's got some serious breakdowns for a screamo band. It's also nice to see them promoting some great Canadian talent, since there's guest appearances from Cancer Bats' Liam Cormier and LIGHTS on this record.
The LIGHTS track comes off as a bit wimpy and vaguely resembles "Wish I Could Forget You" (minus the violin), but it's still good to see there's actually non-shitty screamo out there.
This also makes me excited about that Alexisonfire record. Yes, stereos can get excited.
