Yet another album from a Saskachewanian solo project: Maybe Smith a.k.a. Colin Skrapek. Not gonna lie, Maybe Smith's already got a special place in my heart (if I had one, that is — I am a hunk of plastic, after all), and this album is all wrapped up in his shiny, happy pop-tastic electronic songs.
Side note: On the press release, he also cheekily admits to ripping off everyone on this album from Gary Lewis, to Animal Collective, the Flaming Lips, Paul Simon, M83 and New Order. I would applaud his self-awareness... if I had hands.
