Y'know, call us crazy, but this was pretty lame for Doperty. We expected something a bit more upbeat than this sleepy, acoustic singer/songwriter stuff. The first two songs are strong, and that single with the video where he kisses that guy is a great song, but the latter half of an album is like the sound of an addict nodding off.
This is still probably the most coherent thing Doperty's done in years, though. And at least he's sobered up.
