Guess what? The Vines aren't the new Nirvana or the next Beatles. Now that we've all realized this about six years later, can we please stop throwing these tags on every up-and-coming buzz band? The hype nearly killed a mediocre band, who have released yet another mediocre album here.

For God's sake, NME even apologized for their behaviour. The least we can all do is drop the hyperbole.
