It's kinda cute listening to Iggy Pop from back in the day and realizing this was the most dangerous, scary and badass evil rawk that ever threw up on people. Nowadays, soundalikes such as The Hives are all Hollywood slick and mainstream and scary rawk has to be way louder, harder, faster and more screamy to even compete. The Iggster's about 50/50 in quality-to-crap here, but it's an interesting history lesson regardless.
