What's with Jews and reggae? Did I miss something about the intrinsic link between rastafarianism and the torah?

This isn't being snide here. But pretty much every single Jewish person I know loves both reggae and smoking lots of dope. And the end result is the inexplicable popularity of people like Matisyahu. Surely someone better than this stereo can explain it...
