Brighton Port Authority Brighten My Day

I listened to four songs from Norman Cook's The Brighton Port Authority project today, and I love four of them and like the two others.
Lead single "Toe Jam" features lead vocals from David Byrne and a rap by Dizzee Rascal in the bridge. Along with its clever, nudity-filled video, it's pretty much guaranteed to put a smile on your face. The same can be said for "Should I Stay Or Should I Blow" (featuring Ashley Beedle). I don't like second single/video "Seattle" (featuring Emmy The Great) or BPA's cover of The Monochrome Set's "He's Frank" (featuring Iggy Pop) as much, but they're still strong tracks.
Martha Wainwright, Jamie T and Jack Penate are among the other artists who've contributed to BPA, and a full album titled I Think We're Gonna Need A Bigger Boat is supposed to come out on Feb. 3. It has now become the album I'm looking most forward to hearing in the first quarter of 2009.
You can check out songs and videos on The Brighton Port Authority's website. Let me know what you think.
