Paul McCartney, Jack White, Dave Grohl, Barack Obama Sing "Hey Jude" At White House

Here's further evidence that our friends south of the border now have a
way cooler leader than us.
Sure, we used to mock Dubya all the time and most Canadians weren't
really onside with 99.9 per cent of the things his administration did,
but those days are over. These days, Barack Obama's in power south of the
border, and he's holding parties with Stevie Wonder, Elvis Costello,
Jack White, Paul McCartney and Dave Grohl. No joke.
Those musicians, along with the Jonas Brothers (Obama's daughters dig
'em), Emmylou Harris, Faith Hill and Corinne Bailey Rae, were at the
White House on Wednesday (June 2) night, where McCartney was awarded the
Library Of Congress Gershwin Prize For Popular Song.
Obama, Macca, White and Grohl all sung "Hey Jude," and the event was
filmed. It'll air July 28 on PBS.
This basically hammers home the point that Obama is way cooler than
Stephen Harper. There's no way in hell Harper could ever get these kinds
of people to show up at 24 Sussex Drive and do a singalong of "Hey
Jude."
Instead, he's stuck with Chad Kroeger on his arm, wanting to be a
Beatle and longing to sing with one, only to have his hopes thwarted by
the much cooler Obama.
Here's video of Obama, Macca, Grohl and White singing "Hey Jude":
